How do you make sense of it all? Create a Factor Template with FactorHub, and put all of this advice in action: Jon Bergan wrote this great post about failure and shows many correlations with the price you set: 1. They undercharge for the amount of work they’re completing 2. They undercharge for the value of their work 3. They do not charge for project variations 10. They do not provide adequate customer service Steven Snell lists most of the general factors that you really need to figure when making pricing decisions. The hard part is figuring out exactly how much to charge as you evaluate each of your clients. These factors should remind you of the main reason you are in business for yourself: Sustainability. If you can not evaluate every factor that affects your business in both the short and long term and arrive at a consistent price – your business will not be sustainable. |
